Field Services

FIRST THINGS FIRST

Like the great explorers before them--Christopher Columbus, Lewis and Clark, James Cook--our field services team investigates land and all that lies below it to learn how our projects will use it, affect it, and maintain it.

DIG

At the beginning of many of our projects, our geotechnical teams investigate to learn what's below the ground. It's more than just identifying the types of soils that will support a development's buildings or structures; it's providing comprehensive services that lay out all of the possibilities for your project.

SURVEY

We also survey the landscape to make sure your land or project is exactly where it needs to be. Whether it's boundary, right-of-way, topographic, as-built, hydraulic, forensic, or retracement, we'll make sure your data is correct.

CONSTRUCT

When the exploration ends and you're ready to build your project, our construction services team is on-site to see that everything runs according to plan. As you proceed from drawings to permits to construction, multiple tasks along the way keep the project moving: record-keeping, compliance, scheduling, inspections, reports, and budgets, to name a few. We're ready to see your project through from beginning to end.

INSPECT

Our team has the experience and equipment necessary to perform a wide variety of special inspections, as well as laboratory and field testing. We can do it all, from field soil density testing to concrete, masonry, and grout testing to Skidmore-Wilhelm bolt testing to field welding inspections to rebar locations to ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid dye penetrant testing.
